As part of the international ‘Five Years Too Many’ campaign in May 2013 Bahá’ís and their friends, in Hawaii, contacted the offices of their respective Senators and Representatives by telephone to request their support for US Senate Resolution 75 (S.Res.75) and US House Resolution 109 (H.Res.109). (Additional information on each resolution can be obtained at http://iran.bahai.us/congressional-outreach/.)
A delegation also met with the Senators and Representatives to request support for these Resolutions.
Our deepest appreciation goes to Senators Brain Schatz & Mazie Hirono who co-sponsored US Senate Resolution 75.
Our deepest appreciation also goes to Congress Representatives Colleen Hanabusa & Tulsi Gabbard who co-sponsored US House Resolution 109, which has now passed.
