The Bahá’í Faith in Hawaiʻi
The Bahá’í Faith has a long history in Hawaiʻi spanning over a century. Alongside members of the wider community, the Bahá’ís of Hawaiʻi participate in a variety of community building activities with the goal of serving others and refining their inner-lives in accordance with the teachings of Bahá’u’lláh.
This effort is one of learning and action, free from any sense of superiority or claim to exclusive understanding of truth. It strives to cultivate hope for the future of humanity, foster meaningful action, promote unity and alleviate human suffering.
The Bahá’ís of Hawaii are found on every inhabited island of the Hawaiian chain, reflecting in the Bahá’í community all backgrounds and ethnic groups.
